Eastlake Planning is a fee-based financial planning firm founded to make comprehensive, holistic planning accessible to people from all walks of life. We specialize in working with young professionals, growing families, and those entering retirement.

Meet the Team

Evan McDaniel, CFP®

CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional

Ever since he was a child, Evan has been passionate about helping others. He initially enrolled at the University of North Texas as a civil engineering major, but after three challenging years, he realized that it wasn't a career path he felt called to pursue. He then switched to finance and began his career in 2013. Together with Jocelyn, he founded Eastlake Planning to provide a unique and value-enriched experience to those he works with.

 

Evan, his wife Kathleen, and their two children, Maeve and Cooper, live in the Lake Highlands neighborhood of Dallas. Apart from work, Evan enjoys long-distance running, playing golf, and gardening. Above all, Evan cherishes spending time with his family and golden retriever, Lucy. Evan and his family are parishioners at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Lakewood.

Jocelyn Snow, FPQP®

FINANCIAL PARAPLANNER QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL™

OPERATIONS MANAGER

As the paraplanner and operations manager, Jocelyn plays an integral role in supporting the planning process. With a background in early childhood and special education, Jocelyn brings a unique perspective to planning. Years of working closely with children and families, she recognizes the importance of clear and transparent communication. She enjoys being a part of each clients’ journey through planning.

Jocelyn lives in Michigan with her dogs, Willow and Ellie. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing yoga, crafting, and spending time with friends. Jocelyn gives back to her community as part of the Parent Policy Council for the Macomb County Head Start.
